Barbara lost her Army ROTC son Brent at age 21 in a motorcycle accident in 2002. Delain’s son Christopher was KIA (Killed In Action) at age 26, while in the Army in 2003. Kathy lost her 21 year old son Michael, who served in the Army, to undiagnosed pancreatitis in 1995.
